MIAMI, April 26 (UPI) -- It's starting to make a difference that Miami Dolphins difference makers are absent from veteran minicamp.

Ndamukong Suh's Dolphins teammates aren't happy that their leader has been a no-show so far at the voluntary workouts.

"Teammates are privately steamed about the league's highest-paid defensive player again doing what he wants — a recurring problem during much of the 2015 season," the Miami Herald's Adam Beasley reported.

But it isn't just Suh who isn't showing. Mario Williams, acquired this offseason, has also been absent, along with Reshad Jones and linebacker Koa Misi.

Suh prefers to workout at the Nike compound in Oregon, according to reports. Suh has not been seen at the workouts since showing up on the first day of the Dolphins conditioning program weeks ago.

Jones plans to skip OTA's unitl he get a new contract, according to Beasley. The 28-year-old is already the highest-paid strong safety in the league with a four-year, $28 million deal, but is seeking "between $10 million and $11 million annually," according to Beasley.

Suh signed a six-year, $114 million deal with $60 million guaranteed last offseason. He is set to make more than $23 million this season.

The Herald's Barry Jackson reported last month that the Dolphins restructured Suh's contract, as well as a deal signed in 2013 by Misi.

"I'm not going to get upset about anything on the first day of voluntary veteran minicamp," Dolphins coach Adam Gase told Beasley. "We'll see how everything goes once we get to June."
