He was pulled over driving a 2016 Jaguar XF S at 2:17 a.m. Friday.

The arresting officer asked Swann to get out of the vehicle, which he did so willingly. He told the officer there were two handguns inside the vehicle, which he had concealed carry permits for.

The guns, along with the Jaguar, were turned over to an unnamed passenger in the vehicle.

Police radar first picked up Swann going 81 mph, but increased to 100 mph while he passed another vehicle exiting the highway.

Swann finished this past season on injured reserve after suffering several concussions. He compiled 22 tackles and saw significant time as the Saints' Orleans' nickel defender.
