PITTSBURGH, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Although he might misplace many objects inside of his massive beard, one thing former Pittsburgh Steelers DE Brett Keisel hasn't lost is humility.
For the sixth consecutive year, Keisel said goodbye to his thick and luscious chin chum.
Keisel hosted the annual Shear Da Beard event Thursday at Jergel's Rhythm Grille. Proceeds from the event go to cancer programs at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh UPMC.
Current and former athletes including: Cam Heyward, Ben Roethlisberger, Heath Miller, James Harrison, Jerame Tuman, Shaun Suisham, Neil Walker, Maurkice Pouncey, Chris Hoke, Aaron Smith, Greg Warren, Matt Spaeth, Charlie Batch and Kelvin Beachum attended the event.
