New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft disses Manning family

By Alex Butler

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Feb. 12 (UPI) -- It likely wont spoil the taste of Peyton Manning's champagne, but New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft passed a dig at the Manning family Wednesday.

Apparently Kraft was flustered by Peyton's Super Bowl 50 victory and took it up with a microphone, comparing the Manning brothers' Lombardi trophy collection to Tom Brady's. Kraft told WCVB that he encountered Archie Manning while attending the game in Santa Clara.

"I happened to see Archie [Manning] there," Kraft told WCVB. "He has two sons who have won two Super Bowls [each]. But with all due respect, we have one son who has won four."

Brady is 11-6 All-Time against Peyton Manning. But Peyton is 3-1 against Brady in AFC Championship games and 3-2 against Brady in the postseason. Manning is the only starting quarterback in NFL history to win a Super Bowl with two different teams.

The Broncos defeated the Patriots 20-18 on Jan. 24 in the AFC Championship.

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning has defeated Brady's Patriots twice in the Super Bowl.
