PHOENIX, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- While quarterback Carson Palmer didn't have to worry about missing the Super Bowl for the birth of his son, he sounds excited enough for a confetti shower.
Palmer posted a video to Facebook Wednesday, capturing his wife and himself. Palmer repeatedly says: "It's a boy. Oh my goodness. It's a little boy. It's a boy!"
Palmer and wife Shaelyn met while at USC. The duo has three other children: A son named Fletch and daughter Ellie, who are twins, and a daughter named Bries.
The 36-year-old led the Arizona Cardinals to a 13-3 record this season, before falling to the Carolina Panthers in the NFC Championship.
Palmer completed 342-of-537 passes, for 4,671 yards, 35 touchdowns and 11 interceptions this season.
