LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va., Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Wicked winds and a sinister snowstorm submerged the Washington Redskins' practice facility.
The Redskins' practice bubble, located at Redskins Park in Loudoun County, Virginia, deflated sometime over the weekend.
"The heavy snow and high winds caused the Redskins Indoor Training Facility to deflate," The Redskins said in a statement. "The Facility will be re-inflated when the snow is removed and conditions improve."
While the snow surely sank the facility, it can't weight down a season that was anything but deflating.
This season, the Redskins captured the NFC East after winning its final four games. The Green Bay Packers knocked the Redskins out of the playoffs January 10 in a Wildcard round matchup.
