LOS ANGELES, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- The Rams definitely wont forget to pack Todd Gurley during its move from St. Louis to Los Angeles.

Shifty sidesteps and jet propelled speed put Gurley's name on the tips of tongues of all football fans this season.

Now he is getting respect, being named the Professional Football Writers of America's Rookie of the Year/Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Gurley was the No. 10 pick in the 2015, but didn't make his first NFL start until week four. He responded with a 146-yard performance on the ground.

The Georgia product finished the season with 1,106 rushing yards and 10 total scores. He also tallied five 100-yard games, to lead all rookies. Gurley is a Pro Bowl selection after being the only rookie in NFL history to rush for 125 yards or more in five straight games.

The Rams' Aaron Donald won the PFWA award for Defensive Rookie of the Year last season.
