SEATTLE, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Even though he isn't playing, Marshawn Lynch is capitalizing off of people talking about him not talking.
The Seattle Seahawks running back made noise with few words at Super Bowl XLIX media day earlier this year by repeating the phrase: "I'm just here so I wont get fined."
On Tuesday, Lynch had his request for a trademark on the purchase from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office granted, according to Q13 Fox.
Lynch, also known as 'BeastMode,' also owns trademarks for that nickname, but halted his quest to trademark "All about that action, boss," 10 days ago, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell.
Lynch's Super Bowl media day performance was a result of getting fined twice that season, including after the NFC Championship game, for not talking to the media.
Lynch repeated the newly trademarked phrase 29 times before his team fell 28-24 to the New England Patriots. He has only played in seven games this season.
