ST. LOUIS, Sept. 14 (UPI) -- Apparently beating Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks wasn't good enough for the St. Louis Rams.
Wilson tweeted "1-0 #GoHawks" on Saturday, prior to the Rams 34-31 upset of the Seahawks.

Wilson tweeted an hour later that the teams goal is to "go 1-0 every week."

The Rams surely used the tweet as motivation. After the game, Rams running back Benny Cunningham said "1-0, baby. Retweet that!"

Wilson competed 32-of-41 passes for 251 yards and a touchdown in the loss.

The Seahawks face the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field next Sunday. The Rams travel to Landover to face the Washington Redskins at 1 p.m. next Sunday.
