ANN ARBOR, Mich., Dec. 18 (UPI) -- After previously stating he wouldn't give the University of Michigan head coaching job "serious consideration," San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh has changed his tune.
Harbaugh, a former University of Michigan quarterback, has been offered a six-year, $48 million deal to head to Ann Arbor, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.
On Wednesday, ESPN insider Adam Shefter reported that Harbaugh was now "considering it."
Harbaugh had previously indicated he wouldn't give the Michigan gig serious consideration but a source said that's changed very recently.

Harbaugh has a 43-18 record coaching in the NFL and has a 29-21 record coaching in college.
