Golden State Warriors guard Shaun Livingston has been suspended one game by the NBA and Courtney Kirkland has been removed from the NBA's officiating rotation for one week following their roles in an on-court altercation, the league announced Monday.

Livingston approached Kirkland while protesting a non-call with 6:24 remaining in the second quarter of the Warriors' 123-95 win over the Miami Heat on Sunday at AmericanAirlines Arena.

The pair bumped heads, with the 32-year-old Livingston being assessed a technical foul and ejection for making contact with a game official. According to the NBA, a review of the incident determined that Kirkland moved toward Livingston and shared responsibility for the contact.

Livingston's one-game suspension will begin Monday as the Warriors visit the New Orleans Pelicans at Smoothie King Center.

Kirkland's ban will begin Monday and extend through Sunday.
