June 19 (UPI) -- "Leave no tweet unturned" might be Kevin Durant's new motto.
The Golden State Warriors forward and NBA Finals MVP was responding to many users this weekend on the social media network, clapping back when necessary.
Despite many of the users throwing in pointed jabs about Durant's infamous offseason move from the Oklahoma City Thunder to the Warriors, the perennial All-Star kept his cool.
Most of the tweets came Sunday, when Durant said he was on a plane.

One of the first negative comments of the night came from a user saying he didn't know anything about "getting buckets last year" in the Western Conference Finals. The Thunder lost a 3-1 lead against the Warriors in that series and watched Golden State advance to the NBA Finals.
Durant averaged 28.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game in the 2016 NBA playoffs. He posted 28.5 points, 7.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game this postseason.
Another fan stepped up for Durant and said he doesn't really care about the input and sarcastically said: "he can't sleep at night."

The fan then suggested Durant go and cuddle with Draymond Green.
"Somebody is PISSED," Durant said. "Sorry for the damage I caused. Well not really but I hope you get through this rough time."
Another fan suggested that Durant leave the NBA for the NHL and join the Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins.
Durant was asked why he was being bothered so much.
"Me either," he said about not knowing why he was being bothered. "I got time today though, I ain't have time before but it's time now."
Other fans said he took the easy way out and didn't work hard.
"But u wasn't with me shooting in the gym tho, so how do u know my work habits?" Durant asked.

The critics also trashed Durant's "given, not earned" championship ring.
"So I can't even use twitter anymore? Where do I go to get validated?" he tweeted.
Durant also said he wants "people to love the way" he plays basketball.

He ended his back-and-forth by turning down Barstool Sports for a podcast appearance.
"Nah I'm good," he tweeted. "Appreciate it."
Durant, 28, has made eight consecutive All-Star appearances. The 2013 NBA MVP averaged 25.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists in his first season with the Warriors.
