May 23 (UPI) -- Golden State Warriors All-Star Draymond Green deserves a shot in Hollywood after his flop Monday against the San Antonio Spurs.

The Golden State Warriors forward posted up the Spurs' Jonathan Simmons in the second quarter of the final battle of the team's four-game Western Conference finals sweep. Green took a pass from Andre Iguodala at about the 9:55 mark in the quarter.

He backed into Simmons and lifted the ball for a pass. Simmons stepped in to defend, but lightly hit Green with his arm. Green reacted as though Muhammad Ali punched him in the face. After taking the initial hit, he jerked his head backward and flailed his entire body onto the court, chucking the ball away in another motion.

Simmons was called for a foul on the play as the broadcast crew laughed at Green's effort.

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich put his hand over his face and also laughed at Green's reaction to the physical play. Golden State led 34-24 at the time and went on to win 129-115. Green scored 16 points and had eight rebounds and eight assists in the victory. Simmons scored 13 points in the loss. He was starting in place of injured Spurs star Kawhi Leonard.

Green was voted to the All-NBA third-team on Thursday. He has also been a member of the NBA All-Defensive first-team for two consecutive seasons.
