With the Mavericks leading 63-58, Chris Paul dribbled up the court. DeAndre Jordan pulled off a high screen at the 3-point line, sandwiching Barea between himself and Griffin. Barea took exception to the move, shoving Griffin away.

But Griffin added a little oomph to the defense, contorting his upper body backwards and then flailing back to his feet. Barea was ejected for the shove and assessed a flagrant-2 foul. He received a standing ovation as he left the court.
The Mavericks still won the contest 97-95. Griffin scored 21 points, while Jordan had 14 points and 18 rebounds in the loss. Barea had five points and three assists.
Griffin stands at 6-feet, 10-inches and 251 pounds. Barea is listed at 6-feet, 185 pounds.
