Forward Kevin Durant of the Golden State Warriors will miss Saturday night's game against the Brooklyn Nets at Oracle Arena in Oakland because of a left-hand contusion, the team announced.

Durant landed awkwardly on his hand early in Thursday night's game against the Los Angeles Clippers and went to the locker room for an examination, but he later returned to the game.

The Warriors came from behind to win on the strength of a 50-point third quarter and Durant finished with 25 points and 15 rebounds.

Durant leads the Warriors in points, rebounds, field goal percentage and blocked shots in his first season with the team, and has scored at least 20 points in each of the last six games.
