Washington Wizards assign Sheldon McClellan to D-League

The Washington Wizards assigned guard Sheldon McClellan to the Delaware 87ers of the NBA Development League, the team announced Tuesday.

McClellan has appeared in seven games, including and two starts, this season for Washington while averaging 4.6 points and 11 minutes per contest. He was originally signed as a free agent by the Wizards in July.
