Chicago Bulls suspend Rajon Rondo one game for detrimental conduct

The Chicago Bulls suspended point guard Rajon Rondo one game on Monday for "conduct detrimental to the team."

Rondo, 30, will serve his one-game suspension Monday night when the Bulls host the Portland Trail Blazers, the team announced Monday morning.

"It's been addressed," Bulls general manager Gar Forman told ESPN when asked what the issue was with Rondo. "We're moving on.

Rondo is averaging 8.2 points, 7.2 assists, 6.7 rebounds, 1.41 steals and 30.5 minutes in 17 games (all starts) this season.

Rondo was signed by the Bulls this summer to a free agent deal that reportedly will pay him $28 million over the two-year contract.

Rondo spent the first nine seasons of his career with the Boston Celtics. He played the 2015-16 season with the Sacramento Kings.
