Kevin Durant's recruitment is already in full swing this summer.

After making plans to meet with his Oklahoma City Thunder, he secured meetings with the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors.

Now the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, and Boston Celtics have joined the fray. ESPN's Chris Broussard first reported the news. He gave the Washington Wizards, the team in Durant's hometown, "no chance" at getting the superstar.

Durant is also "considering" a meeting with the New York Knicks, who recently acquired guard Derrick Rose from the Chicago Bulls. NBA free agency officially begins July 1.

Durant, 27, averaged 28.2 points per game last season. He has played the first nine-years of his career in Oklahoma City. Although he was able to claim an MVP award along the way, Durant has yet to win an NBA title.

Durant earned $20.1 million with the Thunder last season. He will play with Team USA in the 2016 Olympics. On Sunday, the Oklahoman reported that Golden State and Miami were the most likely destinations for Durant, should he choose to leave the Thunder.

"Another agent thinks, in the case of Durant, the club that wants to pry him away from the Thunder "needs to be a good team, in a better market with a better chance to win than OKC," the Oklahoman's Erik Horne reported.

"So Golden State and Miami become the only real players," the agent told Horne. "It's too hard to justify a move to Los Angeles (Lakers) or New York because they are not close to winning. Houston's out."

"Durantula" has averaged 27.4 points, 7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in his Thunder career. He is a seven-time All-Star.
