SACRAMENTO, May 9 (UPI) -- A new logo comes complete with a new coach for the Sacramento Kings.
On Monday, the Kings agreed to a deal with former Memphis Grizzlies coach Dave Joerger.

SACRAMENTO, May 9 (UPI) -- A new logo comes complete with a new coach for the Sacramento Kings. On Monday, the Kings agreed to a deal with former Memphis Grizzlies coach Dave Joerger.
The deal is for three years and $4 million annually, with a fourth-year option, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
Dave Joerger has agreed to a deal in principle to become the new Sacramento Kings coach, league sources tell @TheVertical.

The Grizzlies fired Joerger, 42, on May 7. Before that move, Joerger had asked the team for permission to interview with other teams.
The Kings finished the season at 33-49, good for No. 10 in the Eastern Conference. The Grizzlies were 42-40, finishing No. 7 in the Eastern Conference. Sacramento fired George Karl last month, after just one full season as head coach. Since Rick Adelman's final season in 2005, the Kings have had eight different men serve as coach.
Joerger has a career record of 147-99 as an NBA head coach.
