INDIANAPOLIS, May 2 (UPI) -- All has been quiet on the contract extension front for Indiana Pacers coach Frank Vogel.

The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Sunday that "Vogel's contract expires at season's end and so far there's been no discussion of a contract extension."

Vogel, 42, signed a two-year extension in October 2014.

His Pacers were knocked out of the playoffs Sunday at the hands of the Toronto Raptors in Game 7. Following the loss, Pacers President Larry Bird avoided getting into his coach's future.

"I just asked Larry Bird: What happens to Frank Vogel -- is he back next year? Bird: "Come on, man, the game just ended." And he walked off," Indianapolis Star's Gregg Doyel reported.

Vogel's Pacers have a 250-181 record in six seasons. The Pacers missed the playoffs in 2014, after two consecutive years in in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Wojnarowski also reported that should Vogel leave the Pacers, there would be "intense appeal" on the market.

Vogel earned $2 million annually under his current extension, according to otherleague.com.
