The play that everyone will be talking about will be Jordan's goal-tending on a potential game-winning runner by Blake Griffin with 4.9 seconds remaining, especially since it was clearly goaltending and Griffin's shot appeared destined to roll through the rim without any help. LOS ANGELES, June 30 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles Lakers appear ready to spend big this summer. The Lakers plan to unload contracts and sign deals with free agents LaMarcus Aldridge and DeAndre Jordan, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

"The Lakers are working to unload contracts, trying to create significantly more salary cap space, league sources tell Yahoo Sports," Wojnarowski tweeted.

"Around the league, executives believe the Lakers are pursuing space to offer free agent deals to LaMarcus Aldridge and DeAndre Jordan," Wojnarowski tweeted.

The only problem for the Lakers is that the team can't offer two max contracts, but could sign Jordan and Aldridge to one-year deals under the max before resigning when the league goes under the new salary cap.

Last month, ESPN reported that Jordan was interested in going to Dallas. Jordan led the NBA with a 71 percent field goal percentage and 15 rebounds per game.

Sources told ESPN's Chris Broussard that Jordan is "likely looking to sign a four-year deal that allows him to opt out after three seasons."

Jordan will meet with the Lakers, Mavericks, New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Clippers when free agency begins Wednesday at 12:01 a.m., according to Broussard.

Kobe Bryant is expected to attend the Lakers Tuesday night meeting with Aldridge, according to USA Today.

Aldridge averaged 23.4 points and 10.2 rebounds last season for the Portland Trail Blazers.
