Golden State's Stephen Curry makes 77 3-pointers in a row

SAN FRANCISCO, April 15 (UPI) -- Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry made an astounding 77 3-pointers in a row during a practice session Tuesday.

Curry rotated around the basket, taking 10 shots from 10 different spots. He made 77 consecutive shots and a total of 94 out of 100.

Curry holds the NBA single-season 3-point record. Kay Thompson, who holds the second-place 3-point record, told ESPN he couldn't believe it. His own record stands at 36.

Curry, a leading candidate for the NBA MVP, has 284 3-pointers under his belt this season. That averages out to 3.6 per game.
