Garcia is hitting .298 with nine doubles, one triple, six home runs, 22 RBIs, 28 runs scored and a .345 on-base percentage in 56 games this season.

Garcia is the team's regular center fielder but has played left field, shortstop and second base.

The White Sox, who were off Monday, will make a corresponding move prior to Tuesday night's series opener against the Twins in Minnesota.
