March 29 (UPI) -- A relief pitcher from the New York Mets will answer for violating Major League Baseball's domestic violence policy.
According to the New York Times, Jeurys Familia will receive a 15-game suspension for his actions. The 27-year-old right-handed reliever could be eligible to return to the Mets by April 20. Addison Reed is expected to fill in as the team's closer.
