Stanton hit 27 home runs and had 74 RBI in 119 games last season. He has 208 career home runs in seven seasons with the Marlins. Stanton is a three-time All-Star. He is due $14.5 million next season, before his salary jumps to $25 million in 2018. The Marlins can opt out of that deal after the 2020 season, but could opt to trade him before that point.
