Houston Astros to sign OF Josh Reddick

HOUSTON, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Pending a physical, outfielder Josh Reddick will be a member of the Houston Astros next season.

Yahoo Sports' Jeff Passan reported Thursday that the Astros agreed to a deal with the free agent. Reddick, 29, hit .281 with 10 home runs and 37 RBI in 115 games last season for the Oakland Athletics and Los Angeles Dodgers. Reddick's deal is for four years and $52 million.

The Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays were among the teams vying for Reddick's services this month.
