CLEVELAND, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- It's going to take a lot for second baseman Jason Kipnis to sit in the dugout during the World Series.

A dinged-up ankle definitely won't be enough to bench the Cleveland Indians stud.

After the Indians beat the Toronto Blue Jays Wednesday to advance to the World Series, Kipnis ran over to Francisco Lindor for a hug. He jumped up into Lindor's arms, before coming down on his foot awkwardly, tweaking his right ankle.

"Got a little too close to @Lindor12BC during the celebration!! Freak accident but should be good to go by Tuesday! #cantkeepmeoutofthisgame," Kipnis tweeted Sunday.

MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reported that Kipnis is dealing with a low ankle sprain. He went through fielding drills Sunday.

The Indians face the Chicago Cubs in Game 1 at 8:08 p.m. Tuesday in Cleveland.
