May 11 (UPI) -- James Hahn's caddie made one of the best drives of the day Wednesday at The Players Championship, throwing a golf ball onto the green on No. 17.

Mark Urbanek eyed the green on the par 3, the same one Rickie Fowler carded an ace on in practice, before running up to the water. His heave landed right in the middle of the island green.

Hahn is tied for 50th after Thursday's opening round at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. He is even par with a 72 after the first round. Adam Scott is the current tournament leader at -6, followed by William McGirt's -5. J.B. Holmes, Alex Noren, Chaz Reavie, Mackenzie Hughes and Rafa Cabrera Bello are tied for third at -4.

Each year on Wednesday, caddies get a shot at No. 17 at the stadium course. Ian Finnis won this year's Annual Caddie Competition. The competition benefits the Bruce Edwards foundation. Finnis is Tommy Fleetwood's caddie.

Henrik Stenson's caddie Gareth Lord took out his frustration for a poor attempt on the hole, tossing his club into the water. Stenson caught the blunder on video.
