Adam Scott shared a four-stroke lead with Sergio Garcia after three rounds of the Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., on Saturday despite hitting two balls in the water at No. 15 for a quadruple-bogey 7.
Garcia forged a tie after a birdie at No. 18 gave him a 3-under-par 67 that included three straight birdies on the front en route to a 31.
Scott shot 66 to share low round of the day with Billy Horschel, who is eight strokes back. The leaders were at 9-under 201 after 54 holes.
Blayne Barber followed his second-round 66 with a 69 and is alone in third. Justin Thomas shot 68 to move into a tie for fourth with Rickie Fowler after the second-round leader shot a 74.
