By The Sports Xchange

Nebraska wide receivers coach Keith Williams was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after a car crash involving two vehicles early Sunday.

Williams, 45, was involved in a crash blocks from Memorial Stadium, where the Cornhuskers play home football games, at approximately 1:50 a.m. and Lincoln Police said his blood-alcohol level was .15, nearly double the legal limit of .08.

He was detained at Lancaster County Jail, where records indicated the offense would be the third DUI-related arrest for Williams. The offense could be classified as a felony with possible allowable sentence of three years in prison, a $10,000 fine and revocation of his driver's license for up to 15 years.

Nebraska's athletic department said it was aware of the situation.

"We will continue to gather additional information and will withhold further comment at this time," the department said in a statement.
