LINCOLN, Neb., March 23 (UPI) -- Although he didn't opt for the Los Angeles lights, Keyshawn Johnson Jr. should make a name for himself in college, like his famous father.
Johnson Jr. committed to play for Nebraska Wednesday morning in a video posted on Bleacher Report. Johnson Sr. paved the way for his college legacy at the University of Southern California.
"But I'm more than just my name," Johnson Jr. says in the video. "I'm here to blaze my own trail. Build my own legacy. Work for my future. The expectations are high. The pressure immense. Do I take his torch, or light my own?"
"I told you I was going to make my own path. Go Big Red."
Johnson Jr. ranked as a four-star wide receiver by 247 Sports, and No. 27 wide receiver in the nation. He ranked as the No. 21 wide receiver on ESPN and Scout.com.
