ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Teddy Bridgewater hurled three touchdown passes and ran for another score Saturday, powering Louisville over Miami-Florida 36-9 in the Russell Athletic Bowl.

Bridgewater, a junior likely playing in his final collegiate game before turning professional, amassed a career-high 447 passing yards on 35-of-45 efficiency for the Cardinals (12-1).

He also set a single-season school record with 31 TD passes.

On defense, Louisville yielded just 173 total yards, including 13 on the ground, en route to its second-ever 12-win season.

Stephen Morris was limited to 160 yards on 12-of-27 passing for the Hurricanes (9-4), who fell in their first post-season appearance since 2010.
