MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- James White rolled up 125 rushing yards and scored a touchdown Saturday in 17th-ranked Wisconsin's frigid 20-7 victory over No. 23 Minnesota.

Joel Stave shook off 19-degree temperatures to complete 16-of-26 passes with a touchdown and an interception for the Badgers (9-2, 6-1 Big Ten), who captured the rivals' Paul Bunyan's axe for the 10th straight season while extending their winning streak to six games.

Jared Abbrederis made seven catches for 67 yards.

Minnesota (8-3, 4-3) was largely shut down by Wisconsin's defense as Philip Nelson completed only 7-of-23 passes for 83 yards.

David Cobb ran for 68 yards on 17 carries as his streak of 100-yard games and the Golden Gophers' winning skein were snapped at four games.
