COL FB: Clemson 52, Citadel 6

CLEMSON, S.C., Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Tajh Boyd threw five touchdown passes Saturday to lead No. 6 Clemson in a 52-6 trouncing of The Citadel.

Boyd completed 21-of-28 passes for 288 yards, and Cole Stoudt mopped up with three completions for 65 yards and a TD toss to Daniel Rodriguez in the fourth quarter.

Boyd completed scoring passes to five different receivers as Clemson (10-1) racked up 350 yards in the air.

The Bulldogs (5-7) had been on a three-game winning streak. They stuck to the ground game and got 69 yards on 23 carries from Ben Dupree. Darien Robinson gained 45 yards and Thomas Warren kicked two second-half field goals.
