COL FB: Wisconsin 27, Brigham Young 17

MADISON, Wis., Nov. 9 (UPI) -- James White ran for two touchdowns and caught a scoring pass Saturday in No. 22 Wisconsin's 27-17 non-conference win over Brigham Young.

White amassed 196 total yards from scrimmage, including 149 rushing yards with two scores on 23 carries. He also made six catches for 47 yards and a touchdown as the Badgers (7-2) won a 29th consecutive non-conference home game.

Joel Stave made good on 23-of-32 passes for 196 yards and a touchdown with one interception for Wisconsin, which logged a fourth straight win overall.

BYU (6-3) was paced by Taysom Hill, who went 20-of-42 for 202 passing yards, two touchdowns and an interception.

Cody Hoffman led the Brigham Young receiving corps, grabbing seven passes for 113 yards with two TDs.
