LOS ANGELES, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Brett Hundley threw for two touchdowns and ran for two others Saturday in pacing the No. 19 UCLA Bruins to a 45-23 Pac-12 win over the Colorado Buffaloes.
Hundley connected with Devin Fuller for a 76-yard scoring play late in the first quarter and again for a 6-yard touchdown pass midway through the second. He ended up 19-of-24 passing for 273 yards.
Hundley scored on an 11-yard second-quarter run in that put the Bruins (6-2, 3-2 Pac-12) ahead for good. He opened the second-half scoring with a 1-yard rush for his second touchdown. The quarterback led UCLA in rushing with 72 yards on 11 carries.
Fuller added a third touchdown for himself on an 8-yard run that capped the game's scoring.
The other UCLA touchdown came on a 5-yard Damien Thigpen run that had the Bruins ahead 35-13 by the end of the third quarter.
Colorado (3-5, 0-5) led 3-0 on Will Oliver's 23-yard field goal and then 10-7 in the second quarter when the Paul Richardson caught a 7-yard touchdown pass from Sefo Liufau but UCLA, starting with Hundley's 11-yard rush, scored 28 of the next 31 points and pulled away.
Oliver added field goals of 47 and 37 yards and Tony Jones had a 2-yard run to account for the rest of the Buffalos' points.
