IOWA CITY, Iowa, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- James White ran for 132 yards and two touchdowns Saturday to give No. 23 Wisconsin its third consecutive win, a 28-9 win over Iowa.

White carried 19 times for the Badgers (6-2, 4-1 Big Ten) and Joel Stave went 11-of-19 for 144 yards and two TDs in the win, which kept Wisconsin one game behind first-place Ohio State in Big Ten Leaders Division race.

Iowa (5-4, 2-3) took a 3-0 lead in the first quarter on a 28-yard field goal by Mike Meyer, but the Hawkeyes could only muster a pair of 3-pointers the rest of the way and were shut out in the fourth quarter. Jake Rudock threw for 109 yards in the Hawkeyes' third loss in four games.

White scored both of his TDs in the fourth quarter on runs of 11 yards and 2 yards.
