IRVING, Texas, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Alabama retained the top spot and Oregon rode a Pac-12 Conference win over UCLA to second in the second weekly Bowl Conference Series poll, released Sunday.

The Crimson Tide (8-0) remained firmly entrenched at No. 1 after a 45-10 victory over Tennessee.

The Ducks (8-0) bypassed Florida State (7-0) for the key second position in the BCS poll after Saturday's 42-14 triumph over then-No. 11 UCLA.

The Seminoles fell to third by just .0306 points after a 49-17 win over North Carolina State.

Ohio State remained fourth, followed by Stanford, Baylor, Miami-Florida, Clemson, Missouri and Oklahoma.
