COL FB: Louisiana State 48, Furman 16

BATON ROUGE, La., Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Jeremy Hill and Terrence Magee combined for 249 rushing yards and four touchdowns Saturday, helping No. 13 Louisiana State dispatch Furman 48-16.

Hill ran for 142 yards on 14 carries with two scores while Magee also scored twice, finishing with 107 yards on seven rushes for LSU (7-2), which overcame a slow start and scored the game's final 28 points.

Zach Mettenberger made good on 16-of-24 passes for 328 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions for the Tigers, who racked up their 45th straight non-conference victory.

Odell Beckham scored a pair of touchdowns among his six catches en route to a career-high 207 yards.

Reese Hannon was limited to 107 yards on 16-for-28 efficiency for Furman (3-5).
