COL FB: Michigan 63, Indiana 47

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Oct. 19 (UPI) -- Devin Gardner amassed a school-record 503 passing yards and accounted for five touchdowns Saturday in No. 24 Michigan's 63-47 shootout win over Indiana.

Gardner passed for three touchdowns on 21-of-29 efficiency and ran for a pair of scores, piling up 584 yards of total offense as the Wolverines (6-1, 2-1 Big 10) set a team record with 751 overall yards.

Jeremy Gallon racked up 369 yards with two scores on 14 receptions, setting Big Ten and school records for most receiving yards in a single game.

Fitzgerald Toussaint ran for four touchdowns, rolling up 151 yards on 32 carries.

Tre Roberson threw for three touchdowns and ran for one, but it wasn't enough for the Hoosiers (3-4, 1-2).

He recorded 288 passing yards with an interception, completing 16-of-23 attempts, and ran for 50 yards on 11 carries.

Kofi Hughes made six grabs for 138 yards with a touchdown for Indiana.
