KENT, Ohio, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- Cameron Stingily rambled for a career-high 266 yards and scored twice Saturday, propelling No. 23 Northern Illinois over Kent State 38-24.

Stingily rushed 37 times for the Huskies (5-0, 1-0 MAC), who ran at will in their conference opener.

Jordan Lynch passed for 244 yards with two touchdowns while also running for 94 rushing yards on 14 attempts for NIU.

Da'Ron Brown needed only two grabs to rack up a 72 yards with a score for NIU.

Colin Reardon went 16-of-35 passing for 209 yards and two touchdowns for the Golden Flashes (2-4, 1-2).
