MCLEAN, Va., Sept. 30 (UPI) -- The USA Today coaches' football poll is again topped by Alabama, Oregon and Ohio State. Georgia moved up four places and Oklahoma State and LSU fell.

Alabama (4-0) takes in 59 of the 62 first-place mentions but, after two weeks of 59 first-place votes and three mentions for second, actually slips. One of the second-place votes is now a third for the Crimson Tide.

Oregon (4-0) gets two first-place votes and is second ahead of Ohio State (5-0). The final first-place vote goes to No. 4 Clemson (4-0) and Stanford (4-0) continues to hold down the fifth spot in the poll.

Georgia (3-1) defeated Louisiana State last week and jumps from 10th to sixth. LSU sees a decline of five places to 11th, the second-largest drop of the week. Oklahoma State plummets from 11th to No. 20.

Louisville (4-0) is still seventh ahead of No. 8 Florida State and ninth-ranked Texas A&M (4-1). Oklahoma (4-0) is up two places to 10th.

After LSU (4-1) in 11th come South Carolina (3-1) at No. 12, UCLA (3-0) in 13th, Miami (Fla.) (4-0) at No. 14 and Northwestern (4-0) voted in at 15th. Those four schools are all up one place this week.

Baylor (3-0) moves to 16th after a week at No. 18 with Michigan (4-0) steady at 17th and Washington (4-0) up two to 18th. Florida (3-1) retains the 19th place ahead of Oklahoma State (3-1).

Fresno State (4-0) takes the No. 21 spot and Texas Tech (4-0) is in at 22nd. No. 23 Northern Illinois (4-0) is ranked for the first time this season while No. 24 Arizona State (3-1) and 25th-ranked Nebraska (3-1) return to the Top 25.

Mississippi, Notre Dame and Wisconsin drop out of the rankings this week.
