BATON ROUGE, La., Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Jeremy Hill rushed for three touchdowns en route to a career-high 183 yards Saturday, fueling seventh-ranked Louisiana State's 35-21 victory over Auburn.

Zach Mettenberger produced 229 yards and a touchdown on 14-of-22 passing efficiency and was intercepted once as the Tigers (4-0, 1-0 SEC) reeled off an eighth straight home win over Auburn.

Jarvis Landry led LSU's aerial attack, making seven grabs for 118 yards and a score.

Auburn (3-1, 1-1) couldn't get on track offensively as Nick Marshall was held to 17-of-33 passing for 224 yards with two interceptions.

Sammie Coates amassed 139 yards on four catches for the Tigers.
