Murphy also rushed for 84 rushing yards with a TD on 10 carries as Florida (2-1, 1-0 SEC) bested Tennessee for a ninth straight time.
Nathan Peterman was benched after completing just 4-of-11 passes for the Volunteers (2-2, 0-1).
Junior Justin Worley entered and connected on 10-of-23 passes for 149 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions the rest of the way.
