COL FB: Ohio State 52, California 34

BERKELEY, Calif., Sept. 14 (UPI) -- Kenny Guiton was 21-for-32 for 276 yards and four touchdown passes Saturday and third-ranked Ohio State rolled past California 52-34.

Guiton hooked up twice with Devin Smith on scoring strikes for the Buckeyes (3-0).

Smith finished with three catches for 149 yards while Jordan Hall led Ohio State's ground game with 168 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries.

The Golden Bears (1-2) fell despite getting 371 passing yards and three scores from Jared Goff, who completed 31-of-53 passes.
