TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Sept. 14 (UPI) -- Jameis Winston passed for two touchdowns and ran for another Saturday in ninth-ranked Florida State's 62-7 non-conference romp over Nevada.
Winston connected on 15-of-18 pass attempts for 214 yards and the Seminoles (2-0) shook off a slow start, racking up 59 straight points, including 31 in the third quarter.
Karlos Williams led FSU's ground game with 110 yards on eight carries, including a 65-yard touchdown run, and Devonta Freeman chipped in with 109 yards with a score on nine attempts.
Kenny Shaw made six receptions for 94 yards with a touchdown.
Quarterbacks Tyler Stewart and Devin Combs were held to a combined 13-of-23 through the air for only 86 yards and a touchdown for the Wolf Pack (1-2).
