5. Clemson (2-0) defeated South Carolina State (0-2) 52-13

6. South Carolina (1-1) lost at No. 12 Georgia (1-1) 41-30

7. Texas A&M (2-0) defeated Sam Houston State (1-1) 65-28

8. Louisville (2-0) defeated Eastern Kentucky (1-1) 44-7

9. Florida (1-1) lost at No. 24t Miami (Fla.) (2-0) 21-16

10. Florida State (1-0) was idle.
