Sept. 7, 2013 at 8:26 PM

ATHENS, Ga., Sept. 7 (UPI) -- Aaron Murray amassed 309 passing yards and hurled four touchdowns Saturday, staking No. 12 Georgia to a 41-30 victory over No. 6 South Carolina.

Murray was complemented by Todd Gurley, who racked up 132 yards on 30 carries and two TDs -- one rushing and one receiving -- as the Bulldogs (1-1, 1-0 SEC) rebounded from a non-conference loss to Clemson last week.

Justin Wesley-Scott made three grabs for 116 yards with a score as Georgia rolled for 536 total yards against South Carolina's vaunted defense.

The Gamecocks (1-1, 0-1) could manage just six second-half points as Connor Shaw was limited to 228 yards on 16-of-25 efficiency with a pair of touchdown passes to Nick Jones.

Mike Davis ran for 149 yards and a TD on 16 attempts for South Carolina.
