PITTSBURGH, Sept. 2 (UPI) -- Redshirt freshman Jameis Winston tossed four TD passes en route to 356 passing yards Monday in No. 12 Florida State's 41-13 season-opening rout of Pittsburgh.

Winston, taking over at quarterback for the departed EJ Manuel, completed 25-of-27 passes and ran for another touchdown as Florida State (1-0, 1-0 ACC) began its 2013 schedule with a one-sided victory.

Three of his scoring strikes went to Nick O'Leary, who finished with four catches for 47 yards, while Rashad Greene paced the Seminoles' receiving corps with 126 yards on eight grabs.

Tom Savage threw for 201 yards on 15-of-28 efficiency but was intercepted twice for the Panthers (0-1, 0-1), who fell in their first game as a member of the ACC.
