COL FB: Texas A&M 52, Rice 31

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- Johnny Manziel took the field in the second half after serving a suspension Saturday and Texas A&M responded with a 52-31 season-opening win over Rice.

Manziel, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, sat out the game's first two quarters as a result of an NCAA probe into a sports memorabilia violation.
